Welcome to the world of possibilities. Our goal is to improve and strengthen student observational skills. Develop their drawing, sculpture and painting techniques in both contemporary & classical styles.
Projects will examine human and animal anatomy, still life, landscape, fantasy & monsters, art history and graphic design, all from culturally diverse perspectives. Students engage in a design thinking approach using artist quality materials: Acrylic painting on canvas; Watercolor; Three-dimensional sculpture, (paper māché, wood, wire, clay); Relief sculpture (metal wood and found objects); Oil pastels; Chalk pastels; Mixed media; Collage; Wood block printing; Resist techniques; Color theory; Compositional design & Structural Engineering.
• Must register for minimum of eight consecutive weeks
• A new project every week
